Describe the action that changed
Does the key enter normally but resist turning, or does the latch fail to engage when the door closes? Is the trouble outside only, inside only or on both sides? Explain what you actually observe and whether it happens every time. A brief description of a repeated action can be more useful than naming a replacement product.
Keep the whole opening in view: the door, frame and installed hardware work together. A familiar-looking cylinder does not prove that the cylinder alone is responsible. Residential locksmith information helps place the request among the other ways a home entrance can need attention.
If access has already been lost, use the emergency locksmith guidance to organize that immediate situation. Make clear that the door is locked shut rather than describing it as a routine adjustment with unrestricted access.
